( Khyati Patel - Second year M.B.B.S. student of B.J.Medical college, Ahemdabad.)
A rhapsodic tear drop, floating away from the deep blue ocean;
Left the trail to encase the past, flowing in unbound motion.
Attained the edge of chin, realized that the end is near;
Showing me to the face of world, is considered a latest fear.
Can't decide they are hiding me or their failed hopes
Masked with make-up and tangled up in glycerinated drops.
Have they outgrown their fear or dressed them anew?
It is not cowardice if you shed tear drops a few.
I am just a tiny transformed form of water and rain;
Contains evaporated feelings, which needs a drain.
Oh! How can I expect anything from world's nonchalance?
That has already forgotten the actual meaning of balance.
But you can't deny my debt to this human strain;
That's the exhumation of heart buried beneath the brain!
